The old time music must live on. Although it may be played on newer instruments, I prefer the older ones. We try to offer a wide variety of vintage instruments at competative prices. This picture was taken just outside of our shop in the sleepy little mountain village of Oakland. We are located in the mountains of Maryland, just eight miles south of Deep Creek Lake. Oakland is home to the Maryland State Banjo and Fiddle Contests held during our Autumn Glory Festival. Whatever time of year you make it to our little town, you'll find all sorts of activities to make your trip a most memorable experience.
